PostHeaderIcon Wireless Burgler Alarms: Benefits And Problems

The sky is clean and clear, the air outside is crisp, the sunlight coming in through the windows is pure, and there’s a breeze. Last night, as storm blew through and now a young lady sits in front of me. Her straight hair is dark, and flows past her shoulders, and her eyelashes follow her sleepy blue eyes as they gaze over her computer. She sits there, as picturesque as the morning behind her, a mockery of fate, an existence that maybe shouldn’t be. Hellen Frisk’s journey started several months back when she began looking for ways of securing her home better. She had started to feel less and less secure in her neighborhood after a rash of break-ins, and one particularly violent incident that happened a few houses down. Even though the police were more active the crime still continued unfortunately. Unfortunately her first choice wasn’t doable. Her complex would not allow dogs. Even so, the right dog would be difficult to care for in an apartment. Not knowing exactly where to begin, she began researching alarm systems. Ademco LynxEach has advantages over the other. Ease of installation is where the wired alarm systems worked best for her. She wasn’t willing to pay someone to run wires through her walls for a place she was only renting. She didn’t think putting the wires along the walls would look very good either. So wireless it was. The only thing left to do is select a manufacturer. DSC alarm System, Napco Security Systems, and Ademco Lynx were the final three she looked into. Each of them had some very useful functionality. Some DSC units can cover up to 32 zones, and recognizes up to 16 wireless keys.Ademco has a state of the art keypad system that allows you to keep in touch with the police if need-be, and also has a monitoring solution. False positives protection was Ellen’s biggest worry though, so the Napco “IQ Profile” feature was what finally convinced her. One of the reasons for not getting a dog is that she already owned a cat. Her cat would be able to roam around at will without the alarm system going off. A couple of days ago Ellen had her mouth duct taped by an intruder that had broken in during the night. She woke up and frantically grabbed at anything to defend herself with. He grasped her by her arms, and she kicked. It was just enough to break free. She pulled off the tape, and ran. She heard her cat screech as the intruder tripped over him. He overpowered her, and the rest was a blur. Fortunately none of it happened though. The reason is because before he ever got inside the apartment, I was watching over her and he new that. Watching over her furniture, her possessions, and even her cat, and now she sits in front of me on this beautiful morning quietly catching up on her email.
